Here's my version of Edelweiss for baritone ukulele. I try to walk through each chord one by one. Pardon my strings buzzing, my fingers were pretty tired by the time I did this one.
This is part 2 of the series where the kittens are growing up and Captain Peanut struggles to fit through the crack under the door. Perci still has no problem at all.
Perci the Kitten, in a playful mood in the morning, in her "attack mode" watching my fingers and wanting to pounce on them. Check out her ears when she's ready to attack!
Here I show one possible (simpler) strumming technique while playing The Breakup Song by Chris Ramos. Chris does a great job with a more advanced strumming technique, including muted strings as he strums (which gives the song great rhythm). For all you beginners, this may be a good place to start...
Here's me throwin out some chords for The Breakup Song when played on a baritone uke. I throw in some chord variations to make it sound a little bit more snappy.
We had the opportunity to see Dan Menendez performing for a member dinner at our local Bargetto Winery. Dan is simply brilliant and I was so impressed, I should have proposed to him that night. This is a clip of him juggling, and doing some pretty cool tricks using juggling balls to play his electric piano.
Peanut is crazy for water (as we all know by now) and in this video he shows his fascination for sink drains. He likes to stick his paw down the drain and plug it, the pull it out and watch the water go down. Too cute!
The kittens, Persephone and Captain Peanut in their basket at bedtime when we first brought them home. Perci can't sleep, she's so cute. Watch her as she rolls around and starts "eating corn" (biting her toes).
Susan and Andrea playing songs from Claude Bolling's Suites for Flute & Jazz Piano Trio. Here they are playing "Sentimentale". I remember listening to them play this together when I was a little girl. I wish I had a better recording and video of these.
