Your moment of Zen to Teardrop by Massive Attack. These are fractured images from the Hubble Space Telescope. They are animated in iMovie on a Macbook. The reference to Portishead at the end of the film is an error. But once I posted it, I didn't want to pull the video so the error remains. Sorry.
A video montage inspired by this spacey, ethereal song about how good love feels, but it doesn't always come easy. Tracey Thorne has also sung with Everything But the Girl. Lovely voice, and she deserves more attention than she has gotten for this solo effort.
A great piece of music by Durutti Column from the CD "Keep Breathing". Background images are primarily from the Hubble Space Telescope, and special effects are by Particle Illusion and iMovieHD on a Mac laptop. Enjoy.
A collection of original photographs by Chris Ellis set to music by Steve Baker and Carmen Daye performing "For Whom The Bell Tolls" from the soundtrack of Donnie Darko.
Portishead performs "Roads," a hauntingly beautiful song, to images of women and children living in war ravaged regions. The loss is real in the faces of these people, and this is an emotional piece. It is a tribute to the grief and heartache that women around the world sometimes experience.
This is a glimpse of the Gorge 2007 experience. I took some video I shot, combined it with a few still pics I nabbed, and layered it with the intro to Two Step as performed on Saturday night 9/1/07 (which was the best version I have ever heard). If you were there leave me a note!
Set to the music of Dave Matthews Band's "Where Are You Going?" this is a collection of photographs in video format of the beautiful mountains and valleys we have hiked around Leavenworth, Washington. There is also a section shot at Smith Rocks in Central Oregon.
Here's something you may never have seen before. This is a private world that most people never get a glimpse into. A small group of medically fragile children are treated to a party as they graduate from Middle School to High School.
These are the kinds of memories that teenage boys store on their mother's video recorder. Shane, you know who you are. Scott said you needed to see this.
