Sorry about the obvious spelling error at the beginning. Overall, even with the alleged 2.45% increase in fuel economy, it doesn't make financial sense to use acetone since 1 quart costs about $10 here.

this is a mixture i just learned about a little while ago. the nitrocellulose was dissolved in acetone that was added until it became a gel-like substance slightly thicker than mineral oil. then acetone peroxide was added and stirred, until it became like napalm. i shaped it and let it dry over night.
